It occurs to me, looking at “Deck”, that both these photos give me excellent practice in negative space. When I was painting I was aware that I should have been aware of it but found it very difficult.
Thank you Judith. It seems I am very attracted to situations that give me a chance to depict (or create?) negative space. Maybe that’s inevitably so because I am trying to explore ‘real’ space and (or versus?) pictorial space. Thanks for your comment, Judith!
