Lots of converging lines in the first picture; but if you look hard (but not overly hard) they are also there in the second one.

As ever, love your B & W’s the best ! You made such an impression on me when I began blogging as I never liked them ! Cheers to 3 years !
Glad to hear it (although I also enjoy straying into colour photography – along with the speedy processes that come with making digital pictures). And I cannot believe it’s three years now! Cheers!
Superb!
Two good yet very different convergences 🙂 I like leaves!
Hard and soft, but both to the same end! Well done —
Very clever and cool looking shots!!!!
Excellent stuff. B&W has such a texture which color lacks. You made great use of that texture. Cool to see how someone else looks at something. Thank you, Alex
Fabulous examples for the challenge!!
Gorgeous! Great eye & shots.
First picture is incredible. Great shot :))
The 2nd photo is incredible. Love these photos.

Oh yes, I really like that!
Excellent response.

nature always delights the eye – these are excellent
Excellent !! well clicked !!
Good Afternoon: The first photograph represents an exceptional use of B&W for a normally colorful subject. Vonn Scott Bair
Beautiful Tobias!! well done. The glitch with pingbacks occurs only on sites that are using https in the URL. They know about it and are working on it. I have https forced in my URL. I probably did that myself long ago. So, I have to wait till techs solved it.
Gorgeous!
Excellent response to the prompt.
Brilliant!! I have a similar photo of that leaf (the first one), didn’t think of shooting down it…again..brilliant.
Fascinating; very good in B&W.
I like shots that challenge perception—okay, I’m a bit slow but the eureka! when I recognised it as leaves was well worth it. Nice~!
I always enjoy that effect, too. Thanks for visiting and commenting here.
Are we supposed to pick one of subtle and not-so-subtle versions of convergence? Because I’m unable to. 🙂
Thanks for commenting! Do you refer to this post or to the challenge in general?
Just the two beautiful photographs here.
Okay, let’s see. I’d say one is pretty obvious. And I cannot think of leaves that have no converging lines, so the other one is just a case in point. Cheers!
Thank you for the patient explanation. I was only suggesting that both photographs are excellent, and not really asking if one has to choose! I’ll skip the lengthy text next time, and get straight to the point! 🙂
I do appreciate both your questions and your response.
Great capture!
Thank you for your kind words, Patricia!
