  1. Seeking a translation for “Gegen die Wand”, I learn that the literal English gets turned around from “against the wall” to the more idiomatic “head-on”. Abstracting and synthesizing these ideas, I gain a sense of “high-impact confrontation”. And these wall images are certainly high-impact. I find the richness of the rusty surface especially powerful, and the composition of the painted-brick is finely judged. Nice 🙂
