Nice shots – I love B&W photos but never seem to do enough of them. Thanks for the inspiration.

Love the textures in this and the light play too. Really great in black and white. Nice job.
Thank you so much, Katie! I appreciate t: You spotted the two things that made me make this picture.
An interesting picture to act as an ice breaker. Thanks for the share!
Thank you!
the abstract nature of this photo is really amazing — reflection, light, texture. looking at if from a certain angle it looks like paint applied with a palette knife.
Thank you for your comment!

Thank you. I am looking forward to it, too.
beautiful pic
Thanks, Amar.
The surfaces of the water in recent photos are really remarkable.
Abstract and mysterious, but tantalizingly textural, which is concrete and real.
Thanks for your comment, Judith. I do not think I do anything special when photographing water. The only thing is that I try to keep the exposure short; using a 135mm lens without a tripod, I went for 1/250 or shorter to be on the safe side (which resulted in a somewhat limited depth-of-field here, but I think it is still tolerable). But enough of tech talk.
Great entry for the challenge.
