    Why do I respond so strongly to the left hand photo and not to the right? That was my question.
    I think for me it is somehow like calligraphy, the left is a figure which communicates (albeit mysteriously and I can’t “translate” it) and the right is — a photo.
    Makes an interesting comment on individual perceptions!

      Thank you for sharing these thoughts, Judith. Interesting indeed. I often have this feeling in the face of abstract art – either it works for me or it doesn’t. I am really happy you let me know.
