Reflection, refraction, a bi gezunt!
A little Yiddish tossed into the mix. Whatever — these are dreamy, gorgeous photos. The first one especially charms my eye.
(Curves I find so much more pleasing than straight lines —- must be in my DNA.)
Curves and straight lines – the choice of one over the other often makes me wonder. I associate straight lines with man-made objects (culture) and curves with nature – although I know that’s not altogether accurate. Do I prefer nature? – Thanks for the comment, Judith!
The sheer fact that these aren’t literal interpretations is what makes your shots, simply put, breathtaking.
That’s also a way of looking at it. I wonder why it did not cross my mind. Thank you for adding perspective!
Spot on Tobias, I have my own refractions about what refractions are 😉
“Let’s play with light” is what got me here…
So did I!
You have some good refractive images.
Thanks!
That white makes the first one very special; well composed. Enjoy the weekend, Tobias.
Thank you, Harrie. And you enjoy the weekend, too!
