A lot of yellow, among other colours…
From a project I intend to share in January, here’s a response to the Weekly Photo Challenge.
Two different types of angular.
Here’s what I dug up for this week’s photo challenge.
Not technically a refraction but close enough, I think.
With the interest rates so low in Germany, building money seems to come cheap. That’s the impression you get while strolling in downtown Hamburg (or Düsseldorf or Wiesbaden, for that matter). Cheap loans might explain the Baulaune – the mood for building everybody seems to be in.
This is my second contribution for this week’s Photo Challenge.
Part of the Baulaune series, this is a sign, and a tautologic one, come to think of it.
This week’s photo challenge reminded me of an old photo, made seven years ago in Freiburg. To me, it seems to say a lot about being human.
A dialogue? Maybe: These two pictures feel a bit like one person finishing another person’s sentence to me.
Another interpretation of the Photo Challenge: “Fray”. Seen in Arezzo, Italy.

This nest box has been abandoned … for obvious reasons.
These apples spent all winter on the tree – abandoned, it seems.
