Three To Get Ready

This week, the Lens-Artists’ challenge is unique. Considering that all the above buildings are custom-made only to be part of my pictures, this might seem easy.

However, there’s more. I’ve come to believe that the most worthy goal in this kind of photography is capturing the unique moment. It is both fun and fulfilling to make a picture look like it captures something that is just happening, people in the course of doing something – at work, as shown in this little sequence (which is a prequel to my last two posts).

I think this really about capturing that decisive part of a narrative. And though I am not sure I am great at it, it’s definitely something to aim for.

    1. Thanks, Amy. The lighting inside the club sort of is what it is, it’s mounted to the building; and for the street shot I had to move my desk light around to get there…
