Music by Duke Ellington. This is the first in a series of Jazz pictures I have not yet quite finished. It is also an entry for Paula’s “Pick A Word in July” in which I have not participated in ages: Here’s a window.
As the last part of the “Thieves” strips will take some more time to be completed, here’s an interim picture. It was voted picture of the month at the toy photographers MeWe-channel. What a pleasant surprise!

Mosquito Murder Mystery
This picture was part of a photo challenge which was not just about the photographs but also about providing captions for other people’s work. So here are a three of my favourites:
“That’s life. Whichever way you turn, fate sticks out a foot to trip you.” (Jason Nvrmore)
“One terrifying night, Gregor Samsa woke up on the windshield of his car and realized he has changed into a large mosquito.” (Tomasz Lasek)
“Dana felt fuzzy, but knew they would need serious Photoshop skills to remove this problem.” (Tony Tulloch)
Complicity. A mini mystery

By the window
Paula’s Thursday Special is windows, and I think I can finally contribute with this picture (after all, it shows a couple of them).
“Down these mean streets a man must go who is not himself mean”
