My contribution for Christina’s Magic Mottos challenge:
Noir | part 11
Today, I also have the pleasure to participate in the photo challenge at Lost in Translation.
…or maybe it’s the God of Small Things. However, I did notintend to participate in Paula’s Thursday Challenge until I found this little devil, a very minuscule example of Urban Art.
Looking for traces of use and abuse around Wiesbaden’s former courthouse, I spotted these pictures painted on metal doors. I found them absolutely gripping, and immediately decided I had to show them to Jörg from Dosenkunst. Then I checked with his blog and found out he had photographed and posted them quite a while ago. So what was the point of photographing them again?
I told my wife I had to show her some photos of graffiti, and upon seeing them she replied: “Are you sure you want to call these graffiti? They are art!” So here’s another interpretation of art…
Contributing to Lucile de Godoy’s 101 Photo Rehab, and an addition to my last two posts – check out the other great entries for the rehab! You are in for some inspiration.
Just decided this one should be part of the Photo 101 Rehab. Check it out.
Part of the Baulaune series, this is a sign, and a tautologic one, come to think of it.
This picture just came from the lab, and I think it adds a nice angle to this week’s photo challenge.
“Extra” can also mean “intentionally” in German. I like to imagine that this lady dressed to match the walls of il duomo in Siena “extra”, so here is my interpretation of this week’s Photo Challenge: She adds the little extra I could not resist.
A contribution to Ailsa’s Travel Theme: Signs – come to think of it, the message looks a bit wrong. – Anyway, there is just one thing I would like to try, see it as a little extra for today: Do the bottom three ‘work’ together? After all, they are Ironic Icons…
